Aaliyah Leads the Cause

Right before Thanksgiving, Aaliyah was featured in a news story by Channel 8 regarding a traffic concern near her school.  She and a classmate identified an unsafe crossing area, made posters and signs for the school's intersection telling cars to slow down and and be cautious about pedestrians around the school.  They planted the signs around the bus story and other areas of the street.  The media attention has the community talking!  Great job Aaliyah!  Here is the Channel 8 News Story Link:

Sharye, 9th year veteran (Class of 2026, Career High School)

Sharye Elected Secretary of Freshman Class

On December 1, 2022, Sharye was elected as Secretary of the Freshman Class at Career High School.  
"I feel a new sense of leadership and very proud and excited to show this school all I can do.  I am just ready to change Career for the better," she said.
