We turn 38 in 2025!!!
And, as of 2020, Daedream has lived in 5 decades! We are a currently full theater company housed currently at Mauro-Sheridan Interdistrict Magnet School in the Westville area of New Haven, Connecticut. Our rpartner is the New Haven Youth and Recreation Department. Now turning 38 this year, the group was originally founded by Ms. Kim Francis at Lincoln Bassett Community School in 1988, under the administrative leadership of Dr. Verdell Roberts and part of the afterschool program there. It continued as an NHPS afterschool program for years! Our focus is character building through the arts with instruction in dance, theater, stage craft, costuming and vocal performance. We complete a full original musical each year, utilizing the talents of our cast and mentors/leaders, ages 5 to 28, in a fun, culminating family-friendly event. Next up: Save the Dates:
